Bernie has always danced around both sides of this issue. I still haven’t figured if it’s ideological or prudent statesmanship but the criticism is obviously valid. Yet another example of why you don’t idolize politicians, or build a political movement around one guy.
Be interested to know why people are downvoting this. I generally like Bernie, but this is on point.

Bernie is certainly much better than establishment Dems. But he’s seen as a front-runner of the progressive movement so it’d be nice if he finally started calling a spade a spade.
Establishment Dems feel safe not calling it a genocide if the people seen as progressives aren’t even doing it.
There isn’t a source that he actually said it either in the screenshot or a link in the post.
