So do you guys agree that all people who use word pussy for coward are misogynist?

Yes. If you now know that it’s gendered language designed to say, “Haha, you’re soft and weak like a girl,” and you refuse to change, that makes you a misogynist.

Take this hypothetical: Let’s say I was completely isolated from society. My parents taught me that using the N-word to refer to black people is okay. One day, I’m set free on my own. I use the N-word in casual conversation, but my friends correct me and say that it’s wrong and racist to use that word.

I refuse to change my language, because, “I shouldn’t have to! It’s my right to use the language I want!” What does that make me? It makes me a racist.

In the same way, your (or anyone’s) insistence upon clinging to the word “pussy” as an insult makes you a misogynist.

Is pussy in the meaning of coward related to woman genitals? I always thought it was from pussy as in kitten. It doesn’t really make sense if it’s from the vulva meaning.

That’s the funny thing about language. How words transform doesn’t always make sense. Virtually nobody who is a native speaker of English uses the word “pussy” to mean “cat/kitten,” anymore. It is almost exclusively used to mean a vulva, and whether it started as meaning a cat or not when used as an insult, I believe it no longer carries that same connotation of “cat” as its primary meaning.

I would suspect, though this is just my guess, that you would be in the minority, today, for thinking that pussy being used as an insult refers to kittens. I agree that makes more logical sense, but language and idioms aren’t always logical.

Haha, you’re soft and weak like a girl

So you are saying girls are and tend to be strong as men? Therefore it makes pussy bad word? Get hold of yourself delusional. you are swimming in bullshit & polluting others. There is reason word pussy got same meaning as “you’re soft and weak like a girl”, cause girls are weak. How can woman retaliate abuse of husband? So she endures. Have you ever saw men enduring same kind of abuse by other men?

Your comparison is flawed. N word was never used to mean qualities like coward.

Did you just wake up from 1925? You honestly think that women are just weak and men are just strong, and there’s nothing in between? And you think I’m delusional?

Keep digging that hole. You’re only proving the point that YDI. You are a misogynist, and rather than learning from your mistake, you’re whining on the internet about how persecuted you are. Weak.
