@Dort_Owl@hexbear.net You should check out Book of Hours. Skills are called stuff like “Ithastry”, “Hushery”, “Skolekosophy”, and “The Bosk”, and the sequel will introduce skills like “Eloquence” (Whatever that means), and Spivvery (The skill of being a spiv)
I just wish the game wasn’t so boring after the first 30 minutes. The vibes are immaculate but they ruin it by abstracting everything away into numbers :(
I kinda liked having to make your own little system for storing books and so on. Half the fun of the game was just neatly sorting stuff for me. But yeah if you’re not into developing a system of where to put things, the game is mostly just looking around for the right kind of icon on items which seemingly has little connection to what the item actually is and mixing it with another item to get the right number of little icons.
You could try it’s predecessor, Cultist Simulator. It’s faster-paced, but still has the cards and numbers and such system.
