Because literally all most of those idiots want to do is “own the libs” ANYTHING that pisses off a non MAGAt makes the MAGAts nut in their pants. All the BS justifications are them not wanting to admit it to themselves so they can still consider themselves a good and rational person even when rationality is the furthest thing from the truth. Even when they are directly harmed sometimes they do not see the forest for the trees. Like the dude whose daughter died from the measles who came on TV and said it was not Trumps or RFKs fault and not because he convinced them vaccines are bad. He said the lack of a vaccine had nothing to do with it, it was just terrible bad luck and he does not intend to give his future children any vaccines either. These people have no real reasoning capability and no logic at all. They know that the non MAGAts hate Trump and that is all they need to know.
