The things he’s saying sound good but in practice apparently his trip consisted mostly of partying, shopping for luxury clothes and being driven around in a private bus with other vapid Americans. If anyone who isn’t consumerism-poisoned was hoping to learn something about China, its history and culture, i think they will be disappointed.
