There is a rush for AI companies to team up with space launch/satellite companies to build datacenters in space. TL;DR: It's not going to work.

This is a thing only a person that thinks space is magic would think is a good idea.

Pretty sure this is a primary basis of scientific “education”, worship of the moon/mars, etc.

It’s always been about extracting resources from rubes for worthless, profitable “goals” while actual humans suffer.
