Hmmm I can’t say that tbh. The footballers can have unique characteristics. The appeal of getting legends on the card is elite. Footballers are larger than life personalities so they are a massive selling point. A bunch of NPCs in football just wouldn’t be the same. Part of the appeal of FIFA is the simulation aspect and some of the realism (I’m using realism loosely). Its why a game like football manager which seems like it would be bland sells like crazy.
