i mean, some people here try to make some whataboutism with russia implying that ukraine is like palestine (a little country fighting for its life against an evil big bad behemoth)…yeah, some people think of russia like some kind of nazi gubmint (even when ukraine is the one who has open nazis) and some people think of russia like we’re talking about the urss (even when putin’s regime has reactionary policies and persecutes communists) i’m in russia’s side bc the more oppositors has the american hegemony, it will be better for the rest of the world

Half way between being wrong and right is clearly correct. As a genocidal centrist USAmerican shill, USAID have been late with their payments. - Western financing and arming of fascists,
- the Odessa Massacres,
- the renaming of streets to Nazi collaborators and their celebration as heroes,
- the brutal torture and murder of eastern Ukrainians since the installation of the Western approved Ukrainian government after the previous one underwent a coup following refusal of IMF loans,
- the brutal subjugation and torture of minorities since the Western approved ukrainian governments
- the two Minsk agreements aknowledging all of the above that the EU failed to uphold to stop supporting the Nazis,
- the 8 years the Eastern Ukrainians requested Russian intervention before they did 2 years ago
- ukrainian refugees complaining that they are housed next to brown folks if they get the chance to settle in western europe (like what kind of person does that after escaping war)
These are often standard operating procedures against most of the Global South (except for the last point) the only difference here is it is happening to white folks.

For the average Westerner the ideal anti-imperialist is the one that doesn’t fight back. Those ivory towers are built on the bones and blood of the Global South.
If all the above is too much for you then I would recommend Against Empire by Michael Parenti. It will quickly cure any both-sideism.
Idk why MLs even bother trying to convince Western chauvanists. Let the contradictions of their societies turn them to socialism, and if not, leave them to their fate. Why are third worlders expected to convince the West that the way forward is socialism?
