Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Moscow would study the details of the proposal to join the peace council created by U.S. President Donald Trump late last year.

In 1984, it is revealed that the “ministries of” are not ironic nor accidental - they did not become twisted versions of their namesakes. They are so named to intentionally destroy the thing they are named after.
Ergo, “Ministry of Peace”
Seems that the commenter suggests that calling it ‘board of peace’ is disingenuous.

Yeah the other guy got it. It is being named such not as an accident or subversion, but to serve as a declaration against it.
