Putting their own export tax/tariff, increase per unit profit to make up for lowered volume. Like, it’s a thing… Just because you haven’t heard of something or thought it thru, doesn’t mean it’s pointless…

Because no sane government would want to reduce exports.
Reduced volume, but it will be because of Trump’s tarrifs anyways, with no extra money for the companies selling or the country exporting.

The importer still pays the export tariffs.
Yes which would be a native company or citizen not the tariffed country.
