    Getting your record cleared allowing you to get jobs again while also still living in the same places with the same people who enabled and or supported these people it’s very unlikely there would be any benefit to not accept the pardon. Nothing gained but a moral high ground. The person who rejected the pardon already was done with their sentence and was retired in her 70s
