    I tend to like the fact the US has a military strong enough to discourage anyone from invading/killing/raping everyone. I don’t like the vast majority of what we do outside our border with said military though.

        One what? I said I dont like what the military does but I’m glad we have one in general because humans are inherently violent. You can pretend we all get along and don’t need one but that’s idealistic fantasy land.

          Lots of developing countries have shit militaries and we don’t have a big problem of being invaded relentlessly by evil people. You’re the baddies.

      The US Empire is currently using its millitary to plunder the world, and protect the imperial core from retribution from the global south. It needs to die, ideally by being overthrown from within.

      High probability of the people who wants to do that is seeking revenge, so it’s the military fault anyway.
