Irish and EU regulators aggressively “censored” social media coverage of Ireland’s 2024 general election and the recent presidential election, a panel of US politicians has claimed in a report.
The report by the staff on the judiciary committee of the Republican-controlled US Congress alleges “harassment” against tech groups to undermine conservative and populist parties.
They just have to open new accounts, not necessarily leave the old ones. Just copy post to multiple sites. This allows new sites to grow, while keeping benefits of old, with minimal extra effort.
that’s a lot of effort
Depends on the site, and the tools you use. I know, at least tangentially, there were tools for cross-posting between facebook, twitter, and whatever back when I volunteered with a convention. Surely there could be similar tools for non “tech giant” sites.
