Agreed, I still think this kind of change is decades in the making at least. The gen X one Nation crowd would never go for it and they are shaping up to be a MASSIVE voting block. I don’t see it happen until we’re past them.

Lots of good things about Europe, but I doubt there would be enough benefit of us joining the EU. I think we can further relations with them without being in the EU.
As an Aussie i wish that we were closer and were invited to join in the EU itself.

Depends on the future. Our traditional allies are turning into fascists, our comparative small size means we’re not capable of going it alone.
I personally would like ties to EU nations all things considered.

Oh absolutely it’ll take time. Decades is probably about right. But we can hope.
