I’m pretty sure the DSA rescinded their nomination of AOC in 2024 due to her zionism. Undeniably the org is still rife with opportunists though.
DSA members will eitheir be the most liberal socdems you ever meet or can cite state and revolution off the top of their head, and there’s very little in-between.
I kid, but that’s not too far off from how my interactions with them would go. Frankly I think the actually principled ones would do better to join the PSL, but I won’t be too harsh considering the large gains the Red Star Caucus continues to make.
