That’s clearly not even true, although the president and his party would have you believe that, and reject defectors from their party, to further discourage further defections.
She clearly believed in a lot of what the party was saying, and a lot of what they say does sound good if one didn’t know how full of it they are, and their media has made sure to keep their half of the population from knowing any better. She saw the party betraying their positions, and publicly rejected their betrayal of what she believed in, at great personal cost. You are being tooled by the republican party here, and as soon as the president rejected her publicly we had left subs flooded with condemnations of her, as other defectors as well.
As if you already won and we were doling out justice you reject defectors from the party that controls every branch of government and is on the cusp of fixing elections beyond recovery. And spend your time attacking and ridiculing the defectors that rejected malign parts of the agenda, rather than working with those that we agree with, that has to include broad swaths of the population from places like her districts.
