By far not the worst I’ve seen. I can actually read these. The worse ones are the ones that flash up one word at a time. The highlighting sucks on these, but at least there’s 2-3 words at a time and they stay up long enough to read.
That said, the best subs are full phrases/sentences that stay up long enough to read.
This style of captioning is horrible and should never be used for anything except as an example of how not to do captioning.
Yeah, this isn’t karaoke. We don’t need the words highlighted as they’re said.
