The updated Denza Z9 GT can drive up to 1036 km (644 miles) on a single charge, the Chinese automaker says.

I never understand people like the OP. It’s been proven that US and Japanese cars spy on you, but they then criticise China.

Only difference is where the data ends up. If it’s in China you probably have more privacy at home.

You start from “China bad” and the work backwards to fit your narrative. It’s almost pointless having discussion online on anything about China.

I’ll never understand people who read “spyware on wheels” and immediately assume i’m criticizing (only) China. Then again, nuance is a loan word in english.

          I’ll bite.

How often do you comment that on non Chinese cars?

I comment that on any post 2000 car, the more tech it has the more spyware it is, regardless of engine type or brand.
And it doesn’t really matter making country distinctions as we’re talking about transnational megacorps anyway. Most brands belong to a handful of groups.

Totally on that page with you.

But there’s a lot of people who will come say that, but only comment on China related calls, which reaks of “all lives matter” level of disingenuous.

I mean… literally every modern American car with a touch screen and an internet connection. Burning gass or spinning electrons, that part is the same regardless.
