The idea is that when Ukraine retaliates Trump can blame it all on them.

So I already mentioned this in another comment section, but at this point, Ukraine needs to absolutely fuck shit up for Russia despite ceasefire talks. It’s plainly obvious that Putin has zero interest in playing by the rules (lol) and that every one of his “we need peace” talks is in bad faith.
i, for one, am shocked at this news. Putin is usually such an honest and upstanding global citizen…
