The Trump administration is confronting mounting discontent from allies in the Persian Gulf who have complained they were not given adequate time to prepare for the torrent of Iranian drones and missiles bombarding their countries in retaliation for strikes launched by the U.S. and Israel.
Officials from two Gulf countries said their governments were disappointed in the way the U.S. has handled the war, particularly the initial attack on Iran last Saturday. They said their countries were not given advance notice of the U.S.-Israeli attack and complained the U.S. had ignored their warnings that the war would have devastating consequences for the entire region.

I’m curious what you mean by “succeed” here. I’m assuming not “Trump holds a press conference says he’s done and sells some questionable statements as why”. I’m assuming you have something more concrete but I’m not sure what it is. Levelling the place like what happened in Palestine? Sending in the army to help with a regime change like they did in Iraq? Waking up tomorrow and there is a pro-US christian government in place that’s sycophantic to Trump?
You are right, I don’t give a shit about what Trump or the white house may say. And I think by far the most people don’t either.
Succeed is by the definitions stated for the attack, a regime change in Iran to something more US friendly, and a stop to Iran supported terrorism.
Claiming a stop of the development of nukes is purely propaganda, because Iran had already agreed to that.
