    Interesting observation by a port employee in Mexico, apparently the major ports in Mexico have had a surge in traffic by chinese ships, mostly for transboarding. So they’re using these ports mostly as logistics hubs not necesarily dropping containers in Mexico. This was previously done in Panama.

    This is very likely caused by the panama canal fiasco where americans forced panama to break the COSCO contract. That concession lost them a lot of business.
