Also for some reason I hate the fact ai is pushed to really just compliment you all the time. I knows there’s prompting thay might fix thid but I don’t use it enough to bother with it. But even just using deepseek, having it go “oh that’s so interesting blah blah *blah” just makes my skin crawl for some reason.
And I’m not trying to be “ohhh I’m so humble” or whatever. Its just icky to me for some reason
no you’re right, it can be pretty sycophantic. It sounds like a stalker or something lol. I feel like I do get more pushback w/ Deepseek than I had a year ago and it isn’t quite as big of a yesman, but there’s absolutely room for improvement. It’d be cool if you could eventually pre-load certain prompts to make those customizations. You can just copy paste it I guess but that sounds tedious.
Yeah that’s completely normal to hate. The sycophancy used to be way worse too, now it’s less so but some models are worse than others.
