@MrKaplan@lemmy.world has decided that one can only say nice things about the company or else you’re a troll despite having years long legitimate user history. No rules were broken, only @MrKaplan@piefed.world’s feelings. Furthermore I wasn’t even the one to call them “and shitlibs” (The FHF is, I just didn’t say it) - yet @MrKaplan@piefed.world has decided we both should get instance banned for this.

Good to know that Lemmy.world and the Fedihosting Foundation will tolerate StoneToss and Jago but draw the line at their company being called, a real unofficial rule being enforced on multiple users now.

And Hi @mrkaplan@discuss.online, I know you’re watching these threads now :) I made this for you

Edit:

They’ve updated the ban, I’m now banned for stuff I did after being instance banned and not even visible from their instance.

Nice to know you enjoy my FHF meme MrKaplan!

That real life state-less, money-less, class-less experiment of?

meaning “what actually existing stateless, moneyless, classless experiment are you thinking of”

      you said

      precisely

and here’s the thing. based on how you’re treating deceptichum i’d bet you and i have different ideas of examples of attempts to establish those and that several of your choices destroyed my choices. because i’d think of examples to that question:

      • Revolutionary Catalonia
      • The Maknovischna
      • EZLA
      • Rojava
      • Tuareg resistance forces to the various genocides in the saharan desert

there’s also some more local examples to me but they’re hyperlocal to the point that naming them would expose me to risk of harm

I asked you a question, you said nothing in response, you then went “you’re the incorrect one here”. ChatGPT would be better at answering questions. Not good anwsers, but it understands how to answer them.

They’re saying no AES matches the description and are asking you to provide an example of a stateless, moneyless, classless society of which I’ve criticised.

You should understand some anarchist theory in that we don’t value socialism as a step and advocate for fully transitioning without the trap of giving all power to a state to oversee the transitionary period.

Oh and if you must know, I’ve grown rather partial to Cuba. They seem to be the least corrupted and genuine in their values. And have actually spoken in defence of them.

100%. This sort of badgering from marxists, demanding anarchists’ support for AES states is really counterproductive. I don’t think any anarchist worth their salt is gonna simp for authoritarian regimes just because their economies have some socialist characteristics. It’s just a bad bad-faith attack on anarchists in general. My support or otherwise isn’t based on ideological allegiances, it’s based on how well those regimes treat their citizens, and how they actually behave as nation states. And when china eventually gets around to invading taiwan, those same simps are gonna be waving chinese flags instead of calling it out.

Don’t bother asking them to understand anarchists, we need to read their theory but they shouldn’t ever bother to read our or our history of authoritarian “socialists” crushing us.

Left unity is when we obey them, left unity isn’t ever play nice to anarchists.

Pretty much, it’s always in bad faith. They always have a paternalistic view where they’re right and everyone else is ignorant or misguided.

Even the response tries to portray Anarchism as communism instead of understanding that Anarchism is Anarchism. And that if I don’t mind Cuba I should totally just love shitty authoritarian states like the USSR or China. It’s like why bother, at least you can have decent chats with non-ML communists.

If you don’t praise the ghost of Stalin for purging all communists and Mao for killing all sparrows, you’re a counter revolutionary and must be purged.

i’ve noticed it as a cyclical pattern of authority. if someone believes in the value of authority, they presume that anyone who doesn’t believe in the value of authority simply needs to be shown the value of authority.

meanwhile, those who don’t believe in the value of authority see this all as silly nonsense. it’s still a concept i’m integrating though 19 years after first seeing it in action so you’ll have to forgive me if i’m not yet good at describing it. i’m talking to a sociologist this week to see what she thinks since she saw the same thing from the same terrorist attack we both survived

They believe that if you don’t obey them, you must be punished until you obey them. Abusers are fond of it, it’s why Tankies like it. They want to be the abusers, not abolish abuse.

both socialism and anarchism are ways to achieve communism. denouncing socialists as “fascist” is counterproductive at best, and actively harmful for the global struggle at worst.

if you’ve warmed up to what cubans have been able to achieve with socialism, i have great news for you about most of the others. mistakes and course corrections don’t make it wholly bad, just like it didn’t in cuba.

It mostly depends on where the socialists are, really. If they’re a geopolitically blind labor, community, & national interest-centric kind of thing, that’s actively evil inside the imperium & a sitting duck outside of it.
