I guess the problem with focusing so much on sports instead of education is that you never heard of Himmler’s “one good Jew” speech. Which was essentially that everyone knew “one good Jew” that they would save but if they did that, almost every Jewish person in the country would be saved, so there would be no exceptions for “good” Jewish people.
