South Asians are a powerful, visible minority in the Trump administration. They’re also facing a racist backlash, fueled in part by the white nationalist Groyper movement.
I remember seeing a video of an Indian couple berating a black woman because she was black. I read into that that they think they’re adjacent to white (I hate using those terms).
Anyway from the article
“Christian voices should be the main voice of America. And I want to know basically why you seem to be, and I don’t mean to be horribly offensive, but why you seem to be masquerading as a Christian?” one woman in the crowd asked. The young man who followed her was even more direct. “If you are an Indian, a Hindu, coming from a different culture, different religion, than those who founded this country—those who grew this country, built this country, made this country the beautiful thing that it is today—what are you conserving? You are bringing change,” he said. The man went on to ask Ramaswamy how he could represent Ohioans, when 64 percent of them are Christian.
It’s not based on skin color, but it often is that low caste are darker. That being you totally have dark skinned high caste and light skinned low caste people.
Racism is definitely there culturally in India, but it’s complicated on who they considered superior and who is inferior, like Middle Easterners are fairer but Indians would think they are inferior, while same white boiis of Europe are equal or superior. It’s very weird. I think we as humans just don’t want to get along with each other just take a shit on someone all the time.

You will have a tough time finding a more racist society and it’s roots are deep, and based mainly on skin color.
Yeah, they have(had?) a caste system that was pretty heavily based on skin color in India. Or atleast that’s what I recolect

We crave hierarchical control systems. We’re willing to trade its top down malice for stability.
