165Hz was already past the point of diminishing returns on OLED. Even higher refresh rates mean more heat and shorter battery life for gains nobody can actually see. When will OEMs realize nobody asked for this?
I was quite excited back in the day when i had my first 120hz phone. It ran on 60 the whole time because it wasn’t worth the extra battery drain. On my pc monitor i can tell, on my phone i did not care at all. I sometimes went into the settings because i thought it ran on 120
To each their own but I find it equally noticeable on my phone because it did make any drag-based infractions feel a lot smoother. 165 does feel like a stretch though.
