I won’t say that everyone that lives in China has it bad, he might do just fine, but on the whole, it’s not a great place to be, and even if you aren’t on their bad side now, one slip up can land you on the shitlist for life.

As someone who has lived in both the US & China (i am from neither) you’re drinking too much Kool-Aid and not applying enough critical thinking
