JD Vance attempted a charm offensive on Tuesday, and failed with the charm while succeeding in being offensive.

It happened during an announcement that former Donald Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani’s son, Andrew Giuliani, would be leading a task force for the 2026 World Cup, which will take place in the United States, Canada and Mexico next year.

Rather than stoke excitement for a global event that could be a tourism cash cow for North America, Vance decided to take a different approach — and joked about deporting the potential thousands of tourists visiting the U.S. for the occasion.

that, and to chill anyone that MIGHT come to America for the American games out of coming to America for the American games and ensure America doesnt get any of that sweet tourism money.

5 bucks says Mexico and Canada’s stadiums are full, while Americas stadiums are maybe…lets be generous and say 1/3rd full, and I’d wager most of that would be from super low cost tickets in desperation to get people in the seats so it doesnt look completely empty during broadcast.

yes, hence the 1/3rd total capacity.

Cause Trump has fucked our economy, and its gonna get even more fucked by the time that World Cup happens…Which means very few people will be able to afford to travel across country and pay for event price-hiked accomodations and food to attend the games.
