    I was one of the dorks who believed the hype 12 years ago. It didn’t take too many years to realize what was really going on.

    Just part of my, and other people’s slow dissolution regarding technology optimism over the past decade or so. You see an increasing number of people talking about and writing about this shift. It’s really sad. We were so optimistic in the 90s into the 2000s.

    I think it’s harsh to call this dissolution a leopard moment.

    (Also, to be clear, I’ve never owned a Tesla and I could never afford anything in that price class.)
