Rimu published yet another hit piece against the /0 instance and this time posted it in his own instance comms as well. One of his mods jumped in, admitted they don’t know anything about anything, but nevertheless felt confident enough to state their opinion as fact and in the process insult all of us collectively, then stickied his opinion for good measure.
So I decided to reply sarcastically, at which point that mod insulted me and locked the thread, which is apparently a feature in piefed which simply hides/deletes further replies in that thread, but since it’s not a feature in lemmy, it appears to function like a shadow delete.
This is what my last reply would have been.
(Yes I’m being snarky, but that “I’m so mature” bullshit just rubs me the wrong way.)
In my opinion, using mod powers to get the last insult in, is just bastard behaviour.
Being an admin also gets him more vendetta fodder: easy access to voting & moderation info not available to regular users.
He’s literally using it now as ammo that he’s violating the disengage rule, and said I’m losing because he doesn’t follow the instance and community rules.
If he replies and downvotes this, that’s also a violation.
He also said he doesn’t have more than one account. Which is clearly shown to be wrong by the screenshot, of a community he helps to run.
I genuinely don’t know what’s going on with this guy to hate me this much. He’s just annoying and insulting. Claims I’m obsessed with him when I only talk about him when I’m reminded of him.
Meanwhile as soon as I log in and make comments, he’s there without me replying to him.
It’s more sad and annoying than anything meaningful. Especially looking at his modlog.
Again, mods, he’s violating it while accusing me of violating it.
More lying about me (breaking community rules), I literally never said that.
You said disengage, so disengage. Stop abusing the rule to get the last word.
i think he’s entirely within his rights cause you were continuing to insult him while insulting an entirely different user.

as near as i can tell you got told to disengage 3 days ago and continued to openly insult the guy afterwards. he’s allowed to tell you off in return at this point.

If he wants to stop talking shit about me and disengage, I’m happy to. But if he can’t help himself then he doesn’t get to cry foul.
