OK, so a lot of people have a recurring dream where you have to go back to high school because you missed a graduation requirement, even though you’re a grown-ass adult. But I’m curious if anyone knows what would actually happen in this scenario. Would they wave it off, or would you need to take a college class, or get your GED (or equivalent)? Any educators out there to enlighten us?

    TIL this is a wide-spread recurring nightmare/dream…

    I haven’t had one of these in a long time. I was a kind of crap high school student and even got my GED so I could attend classes at a community college and transfer to a four-year university. I now have a master’s and I don’t think I’ve had one of these nightmares since graduating and entering into my profession. But while in college and grad school I had these frequently!

    The whole idea is preposterous of course. They would never Billy Madison us for a clerical error on their part.

      Personally, my dreams don’t have intricate plots. I’ve dreamt I’m in school again but the dream doesn’t provide an explanation, it just is. Or at least, i don’t remember details after I wake up
