    Republicans literally framed it as they were repealing “racial gerrymandering” Literally the act was made to prevent southern states from gerrymandering minority voters into fewer votes. And that is exactly what happened after it got repealed.

      Gerrymandering is a feature of the moldy election system from the 1800s. The US would benefit greatly from moving to proportional representation instead of 1 seat blocks. And getting rid of racists.

        I totally agree. At least stop partisan gerrymandering if not remove districts completely. We have had computers for half a century. Cars and mail trucks even longer.
