        Because something Trump did affected him personally. He hasn’t changed his beliefs or become a better person. He’s just a selfish asshole who got fucked over.

            I read the article. Nothing in there contradicts my statement. His only stated reason for supporting Trump was that he was the “real deal”. Trump’s platform was entirely based on hateful bullshit every time he ran. The logical conclusion to take from that is he supported Trump because of the hateful bullshit.

              He said it wasn’t one thing but rather the accumulation of everything over time. There’s no indication that “the gas prices broke him” or something.

      I mean if we’re doing caricatures liberal voters would be “tell me about how you’re anti war and pro worker but then prioritize corporations and Israel once you’re elected”.
