My view here is that a $130 or so fee should be paid by every car owner, gas or electric. Then they can reduce gas tax by $130 overall if they care to (or keep it as a carbon tax).
Ah yes reducing gas tax is what we need to do, let’s encourage more people to buy more gas
or hear me out…clean tax-free coal! mah RAM gets three shovels/50 miles.
Same fee for all cars regardless of propulsion is my point. Then debate how much gas tax.
