I had no special goal for exercise other than to reduce “all cause mortality” and my internet research steered me toward 30 minutes of moderate cardio. But I have also heard that strength/cardio are interrelated.

My experience being male and into cardio is that so many dudes simply do not give cardio enough attention. Cardio gives you super quick recovery time when doing anything physical, and overall gives you way better endurance so you can work on more muscles in a strength training session
I’ve seen dudes with muscles worthy of a magazine spread fail to match my regular runs or bike rides because they simply do not put enough focus on cardio
