    Ok, they may know people local, I’ll grant that. They need to speak local language to understand written instructions, to interact with co-workers, to understand what is needed for them to do.

    I think your last point is the same as mine. You should offer something that is advantageous compared to an immigrant. You have a massive advantage. If you can’t do that it doesn’t matter since you definitely won’t be able to compete with natives with whom you don’t have a massive advantage.
