White guy in the US here, I’m obsessed with Suriname. Most people I mention it to don’t even know it exists, and like half of them will still walk away from the conversation thinking I’m talking about either Africa or Asia even after I explicitly mention the continent and population.
And not just the real famous ones! I want to see a white guy in the US just completely obsessed and fanboying over the Gambia.
