Really enjoying this talk with some Venezuelan Comrades. One of the bits that stuck out to me the most: The Bolivarian revolutionary culture of “a hora” Where Chavez agreed to put down arms… for now and that is what they are doing today.
Thanks for highlighting this it was a great listen. It’s irritating seeing people frame Venezuelan politics entirely thru their interactions with the US and how “tough” they are essentially. (Which I might add shows ppl didn’t read or read about Chavez! I’m gonna repost some of the books I uploaded abt that actually)
