The west is still doing business with russia, the sanctions are being bypassed through countries like turkey. Russia is buying arms from china which we do plenty of business whit. Russian oligarchs are chilling in dubai right now next to western billionaires.
My suggestion would be to not be scum ourself and actually start to act like the good guys, war is part of a system that we fuel directly, the conflict with russia is part of a century old war western countries and russia have been fighting with dirty tricks like false flag operations on both sides.
“The West” is still doing business with Russia, but be patient. I have it on fairly good authority the 21st EU sanctions package will contain a full services ban. This will effectively end all European involvement in transporting Russian crude/products, other commodities, etc. Probably in the Autumn.
If you as an individual have a problem with Russia’s stalled war of aggression against it’s neighbors, they would like Putin to have the ability to kill you in person. So therefore you should put YOUR money where THEIR mouth is and go volunteer.

How else would they defend territory? Even if they only use drones for defence, someone has to operate them.
