    Most of western europe is euivalent to the uk. Proces still hurt but the social safety net is better and the onky prices ge erally affected sre groceries and rent. America, a largr expense increase is insirance and health costs, too.

      In the UK at least food is really cheap. But housing costs an absolute fortune in comparison.

          More than that, they make living in a temporary structure nearly impossible to do legally.

          Why do I need their fucking permission to live in a cabin out in the woods. I could build the cabin completely legally, the only part I can’t do legally is live in it.

          • Because industrialists at the beginning of the industrial revolution lobbied for private land ownership to push out common land ownership so people couldn’t eek out a subsistence life and were forced to work in factories in deplorable circumstances.
