Mormon leaders, military veterans and elected officials reacted with anger to a new Department of Defense policy that does not consider The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to be a Christian religion as part of a wider effort to cut down the U.S. military’s list of recognized faiths.
“The Pentagon’s decision to list The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints apart from other Christian faiths is wrong and needs to be corrected,” Republican Rep. Mike Kennedy, of heavily Mormon Utah, wrote on X on Sunday.

What reaction were you hoping from this comment?
His point is “both sides” even though it’s very clearly bullshit here.
What’s bullshit about the Electoral College?
Everything about the electoral college is bullshit.
Then why do you keep it?
Because the system allows those few who benefit from keeping it to override all the people who don’t want to, by design?
welcome to the outparty.
When are we going to overthrow them?
Reaction? Are we both not progressives?
Are you in power? ’Cause I empower people. Do you?
Empower? You really lost me here
Horizontalidad
You might have to explain that a little more…
Of how Mike Kennedy & Pete Hegseth have more power than you and a religion?
No-no-no, you mentioned you have power? I’d like to hear a bit more about this power?
Have you ever helped neighbors, disabled, the homeless?
Ah yes, this is the power you speak of? Please tell me more about your power?
