Mormon leaders, military veterans and elected officials reacted with anger to a new Department of Defense policy that does not consider The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to be a Christian religion as part of a wider effort to cut down the U.S. military’s list of recognized faiths.
“The Pentagon’s decision to list The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints apart from other Christian faiths is wrong and needs to be corrected,” Republican Rep. Mike Kennedy, of heavily Mormon Utah, wrote on X on Sunday.

I’m sorry, kinda confused by this thought, can you explain more?
How are you confused if you’re not Pete Hegseth & Mike Kennedy? Do you hold any power?
Oh back to the power! Yes, explain more about your power!
I hold the power to affect those around me, and the people I solidarity with.
Electoralists yield their power to populists like Pete, Trump, Kamala, and Biden.
What kind of power do you party with?
So interesting! Tell me more?
About how you keep refusing to answer basic questions, thus, you don’t see yourself as the outparty, regardless of your vote?
Huh, I’m sorry you feel that way. But please tell me more about the intersect you speak of??
Sure.
But do something impactful than pretend you’re more empowered than the Nazis your inparty elected. Otherwise, continue performing.
Wait, wait ,wait, you said you were empowered? Now you say you’re more empowered than those others you mentioned?? Now I’m very confused, you might need to explain this a bit further.
