Representatives from European countries including France, Britain, Germany and Italy are joining envoys from Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Morocco, the Arab League and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation.

Norway, Iceland, Ireland and Slovenia, who like Spain have already recognised a Palestinian state, are also taking part, alongside Brazil.

Why don’t the arab countries allow more refugees, it’s wild to me when so many lives are being lost… who cares about the geopolitics, let’s save some lives, it’s so sad the Palestinian people have enemies on both sides of them.

Palestinians want to live in Palestine. They don’t want to be refugees.

But even if they wanted to leave, they can’t. Not because of the Arab Nations not taking them in (barring what the other commenter has mentioned of them being poor). Israel is controlling the borders and checkpoints and they do not let anyone leave.

Jordan for example already have 2 millions paleatinian refugees. Arab countries economies are weak and can’t handle hundred thousands of refugees that will never be allowed to return to gaza after the war by Israel
