The idea that you’re tethered to your future self by imagination, and it to you by mere memory is a profound one. It solidifies slightly better the idea that you should do right to yourself if you believe in doing right to others.

I did the same, but came to a different conclusion.
The idea that you’re tethered to your future self by imagination, and it to you by mere memory is a profound one.
