It’s a shame people even need LinkedIn. It’s easy to say “fuck LinkedIn, it’s a social network for arse kissers,” but if your job uses it… you kind of have to use it. Or get another job. But that’s not an option for a lot of people.
I’m sure it’s fine. Totally innocuous.
