Completely unrelated but hindsight being 20/20 the warning signs were always there with moderated centralized forums like reddit.
I have my same reddit acct I’ve had for 15+ years. I’m banned from few aubreddits but my first and most memorable was from AskReddit for doxxing myself. To remove the ban they told me I had to draw a picture of some stupid shit like a giraffe in a Santa hat because it was Christmas or something. That was when I realized I don’t want anything to do with these stupid ass moderators power tripping over a users engagement on a forum. Absolutely asinine.
Mine was for saying only, “Israel is the Devil” Wait, that was twitter actually my bad. Fucking reddit did a bunch of dishonest enforecements against me because of Israel though.
My first Reddit ban was for attempting to ask that question in the most politically neutral way possible.
