The Psychologist needed to force a comfession out of him to imprison him, and he couldn’t. The killer had been released once before, prematurely, and was taking advantage of a weak and underdeveloped judicial system.

Since he never confessed and they didn’t have enough evidence to prove he’d murdered anyone other than the original 3 he’d served his time for, I think he should be called an “alleged” serial killer. It’s pretty confusing but this didn’t actually happen, the truth is actually weirder. After the psychologist was released from prison he starred in a movie about himself about the murder, but it’s a sexualized version of the event itself. Somehow that crept into the Wikipedia article of the serial killer as truth.
