If you’re looking for one, I suggest the Fairphone 5. It’s repairable and has decent mainline kernel support.
It has Display Port via USB-C.
But I should also mention that the Fairphone 6 does not have video out via USB-C.
It’s sad that that omitted it. How is the performance - browsing, remote desktop etc on the 5?
No complaints there. That thing just works.
I just got a grapheneos phone earlier this year. Would Linux work on a Google pixel 10?
I can only speak for the Pixel 9 on Graphene, but yeah, kinda.
You can run Linux via Termux, but the output to a display is a bit clunky, as it’s just an app. It can run full screen, but has a tendency to crash, presumably as it runs out of memory, so it becomes an exercise in frustration. Fun to tinker with though.
I will have to settle with grapheneOS until I pay off my phone and then I will get a Linux phone.
Right now I have to work with what I got.
I mean, it’s worth playing with it to see if you can make it work for you.
