If they actively denounce their past actions and the military while dedicating their lives to correcting their participation in imperialism, both through action and through firm and clear words, then sure I’ll take them. If they don’t do that? They’re still imperialists, fuck em.
Also under this reasoning there is still absolutely no need to be nice to anyone in the military or anyone formerly in the military.
