On the newer Ford vehicles with Adaptive Cruise Control has a driver-facing camera. If you obscure your image or otherwise hamper the camera, the ACC stops working.

Its not a full stop of the vehicle, but it prevents the user from using the thing that they paid for.

Did everyone else on the road pay to die in crashes caused by idiots using Adaptive Cruise Control to read books and zone out while driving?

It’s even possible for the car to sound alarm constantly while ADDW camera is covered making driving unbearable but it’s still has nothing to do with stopping the car.

I guess we have to remove the alarm too, i guess that we can have mod the car control unit to disable the camera without breaking anything else tho

Just change the entire computer while your at it because they may check for error codes. Make sure your custom computer will pass all security checks your car does though.

Or, hear me out, ride a bicycle. It’s spelled b-i-c-y-c-l-e.

If you need to cross some car-only borders, well shit then. Best I can think of is get one of those ewaste grocery store phones with the plan included, sign up for drive share, get over the border, give the phone to a homeless man.
